This year our Transition Evening took place on 6th July at 6.00pm.

We work hard to make sure our new Year 7 students start school here feeling as comfortable as possible at this time of change.

In normal times we offer a full Transition Programme each year which we publish on this page. This details all our transition events, including what we offer throughout years 4, 5 and 6 as well as our Transition Evening in July which is followed by Year 6s having their Transition Day. Sadly, due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to welcome primary students into SRWA this year.

Following our Open Evening in October, we offer guided tours where families can come in and see us in action during a normal school day. You can look around at our facilities and see what learning looks like at the Academy.

The admissions process itself is explained in a West Sussex booklet which is freely available from local primary schools. The West Sussex County Council website also provides full details regarding the admissions procedures. The admissions and over-subscription criteria follow the WSCC agreed protocols and procedures.

Please see here for details of travelling to SRWA.
