Upper School Celebration of Achievement Evening

At the Upper School Celebration of Achievement Evening on 14th December, we recognised and celebrated the achievements of our senior students.

We were delighted to welcome as our guest speaker for the evening, Mr Mark Spofforth OBE, the High Sheriff of West Sussex.  He presented all the awards to the very deserving students and added some pomp and ceremony to the event with his ceremonial uniform or court dress.

To help us with the celebrations, we had many talented students performing throughout the evening.   The evening’s performances consisted of Luke Elder and the Jazz Group performing Autumn Leaves, an ensemble dance performance of O Holy Night, an excerpt from the recent drama production of A Christmas Carol and to end the evening, a Sixth Form ensemble performance of Jesus, Lover of my Soul.

We handed out many awards during the evening for chapter, curriculum and a number of special Academy awards.  We were also fortunate once again, thanks to Ricardo Ltd at Shoreham, to be able to offer Ricardo burseries to six of our sixth form students.

Huge congratulations and very well done to all the students who received awards on the night.
