Careers Afternoons.

We are so grateful for all the past support for our careers events at SRWA. 

We would like to update you on our upcoming events, and invite you to join us. While COVID is still lingering in the background, all our events, for the time being, will be hosted online, which means you can join us from the comfort of your favourite armchair. 

Would you be available to speak with our students on any of these dates? If so, reply to this email. We are looking for volunteers right now for our events on 5th November and also 26th November.

Careers Afternoons

These are our networking events where employers and employees talk about their career journeys and the skills and attributes they feel are necessary for the world of work. It is our ambition that every student, in every year group has the opportunity to interact with a business person at least once a year. These will be remote.

5th November 2pm - 3pm - Year 9 

3rd December 2pm - 3pm - Year 8 

4th February 2pm - 3pm - Year 10 

25th March 2pm - 3pm - Year 11 

20th May 2pm - 3pm - Year 7 

Year 11 Aspire Day: 26th November (times to be confirmed)

This is our biggest event of the year. Students network with business people as part of a wider day of exam tips, inspiration, motivation and wellbeing. The employer event is always a highlight.

This event normally runs for two one hour sessions, and employers can join either or both.

Details of how to join these events and the platforms we will use will be confirmed closer to the time.
