We live, learn and work in a world that is connected in so many ways and yet has so many different parts to it. We believe that we must all understand the connections and the differences so that :
· we can all thrive within it
· and make a difference to it.
At the centre of our work is the desire to create a curriculum and programme of events that embraces the needs of individuals; encourages collaborative work through the arts and contributes to our understanding of our community and the world beyond it.
We work with three overlapping communities:
1. The young people and adults of the Sir Robert Woodard Academy
2. The people of Lancing and Sompting
3. The people of the world
We will build our community through sharing performance work as performers and as audience. Together we will develop the ability to communicate and express new understandings about our world in order to make it a better place. |
